Old Students of Aloysius College Honor Retired Professors

Mangalore, Nov 8: A batch of old students of St Aloysius College, who had passed in 1966 - 68, honored their retired professors, Fr. Frank Mathias (93) and Dr Stany Vas (85)

This traditional felicitation programme was organized by Santhosh Kumar Kadri and N G Mohan at Fathima Retreat House on Nov 8, Friday. The chief guest was Ananthakrishna Bhat, the non-executive chairman of Karnataka Bank. Fr. Ronnie Prabhu, the director of Fathima Retreat House was also present.

Fr. Vas said: “This great occasion has brought a flood of wonderful memories to my mind.” Fr. Mathias too recalled his days as a professor in St. Aloysius College. 

Many old students who shared a bond of respect and affection with these retired professors had attended the programme.
