Organisations demand action against SAC officials

Mangalore, July 03, 2014:  Mangalore units of United Christian Association and Indian Christian Laity Forum have asked for the arrest of officials of St. Aloysius College (SAC) who are alleged to have demolished the house of John Baptist Lewis at Karangalpady on June 26. Addressing reporters on Wednesday, the organisations demanded the immediate arrest of Cyril D’Mello and Francis D’Almeida, who have been “absconding” since the case was lodged against them. Apart from demolishing a house that is embroiled in a property dispute, the priests and 40 others are accused of physically harassing Mr. Lewis’ two daughters.
