Mangaluru, Jan 3, 2016: The website - www.orthoresearch.manipal.edu - created by the orthopaedic research support cell of the Department of Orthopaedics, Kasturba Medical College, was launched by H Vinod Bhat, Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University, here.

The aim of the website is to promote and sustain research activities of the department, stated a press release issued on Saturday. The website would also enable researchers to collaborate at interdepartmental and even at an inter-institutional level.

The two-day Manipal Orthopaedic Alumni Conference was also inaugurated by Dr. Bhat on the occasion. Around 100 Orthopaedic surgeons are attending this conference. The museum of the Department of Orthopaedics was also inaugurated.
