Peritoneal Dialysis Centre comes up at Wenlock Hospital

 Mangalore, Mar 4, 2014 :  State Health and Family Welfare Minister UT Khader inaugurated the Peritoneal Dialysis Centre at the Government Wenlock Hospital in Mangalore  on March 2, Sunday. The Centre set up under the pilot project of the state government is the first ever such centre in a government hospital.

Khader describes the opening of the centre as a revolutionary move and added apart from Wenlock such centre  is in KC General Hospital in Bangalore. He says such centres would be opened in other places based on the response of the public.

Five beneficiaries were also distributed Peritoneal Dialysis kits. Rajeshwari, District Medical Officer and others were present.
