Pillion rider dies in bike skid

Mangalore, Sep 22, 2012 : A man, who was riding pillion on a bike, died when the bike skid near Jakribettu on September 20, Thursday.

The deceased is Sandesh (23) of Modankaup.

The accident took place at around 11:00 p.m. when Prashanth was riding with his friend Sandesh after taking part in the Ganeshotsav at Vogga.

Sandesh died on the way to the hospital.

The Bantwal police have registered a case.
