Police arrest 3 suspects in CPI(M) activist murder case

Kasargod, Sep 19, 2013 :  There is some breakthrough in the investigation into the case of murder of CPI(M) activist Balakrishnan. Bekal police have arrested three suspects in the case on September 18, Wednesday. Balakrishnan (45), a tempo driver by profession, was murdered on the night of September 17, Tuesday by some assailants while he was on way home in his bike.

Those arrested by the police are Prajith, Majid and Shibu. The arrests were made on the basis of a complaint by  Vijayan, a friend of the deceased Balakrishnan. He , in his complaint had said that Balakrishnan was stabbed in the chest by three persons.

Further investigations are underway.
