Mangalore, June 29, 2012 : The Mangalore Central Committee based in Kudroli has written a letter to the Mangalore Police Commissioner, requesting signal lights at Panambur Circle.

The letter, which is signed by President Abdul Azeez and Secretary Ali Hassan, states that, because of the heavy traffic at Panambur Circle, a number of accidents take place and several people have died.

Panambur Circle is place where four roads meet, where there are always huge crowds of people and heavy traffic. Since vehicles come from all directions, it is difficult for pedestrians to walk along the road and cross it.

The committee concluded its letter by informing the commissioner that one Home Guard cannot handle law and order situation at this circle and requesting him to install proper traffic signal lights there.
