Police official suspended

Bntwal, Nov 30, 2018: The Assistant Sub-Inspector of Bantwal Town Police Station Raghurama Hegde has been suspended for refusing to register the complaint of a victim of gang-rape at Thota Bengre in the city on November 18.

The official has been suspended for dereliction of duty and departmental inquiry has been ordered, a release said.
