Police solve murder of chicken stall worker

Mangalore, Nov 28, 2012 : The police solved the murder of a chicken stall worker at Durganagar inYekkar a few hours after his body was found near the chicken stall.

The police have arrested Kiran (32) in connection with the murder of Siddappa of Bhadravathi, who used to work in the chicken stall.

The victim and his friend Shivananda had gone to bed as usual, but Siddappa was found lying in a pool of blood on the morning of Tuesday. Someone had inflicted deep wounds on his limbs, head, and neck.

The Bajpe police took the help of police dogs and successfully solved this crime within a few hours.

The accused Kiran used the work in the same chicken stall, but was fired a few days back. Kiran and Siddappa had a quarrel on the night of Monday, and in the heat of the quarrel, Kiran and Shivananda murdered Siddappa.

The Bajpe police are now looking for Shivananda, who is absconding.
