Mangalore, March 11: Present mayor of Mangalore city corporation, Rajani Duganna said that, rising opportunities in various sports made students luckier.

 

Duganna was delivering speech after the inaugural function of two day Inter Collegiate Power Lifting competition for men and women at Shree Gokarnatheswara college Mangalore on Thursday, March 11.

After comparing past time with present, she said that students of today are lucky enough to have more opportunity in various sports. In her past days, there was less chance in sports, she adds.

On the occasion  B Devadas, President, Shree Venkatesha Shiva Bhakti yoga Sangha,  Chief guests DR H Nagalingappa director of physical education, Mangalore  University, and Nagar Narayan Shenoy, advocate Mangalore, were present.
