Prasad Raj Kanchan unanimously elected as UCCI president

Udupi, Sept. 27, 2012: Prasad Raj Kanchan was unanimously elected as the president of the Udupi Chamber of Commerce of Industry (UCCI) during its annual general body meeting held on September 27, Thursday on the premises of Kidiyoor Hotel.

The others elected are Diwakar Shetty (vice president), entrepreneur K. Balakrishna Shenoy (chief secretary), CA Gujjadi Prabhakar Nayak (treasurer), and Dr. Vijendra Rao (joint secretary).

Delivering the address, Prasad Kanchan said that he will focus on the protection of small, medium, and large enterprises and the creation of job opportunities.

The members of the newly formed committee are Suryaprakash K., K. Krishna Rao, K. Tulsidas Shenoy, Tallur Shivaram Shetty, Jithesh Kidiyoor, Kiran Shetty, Jayaram Suvarna, Narahari Pai, and others.
