Udupi, Sep 10, 2015: CMC- City Municipal Corpn encountered public rage for evicting street vendors operating in front of the KSRTC bus stand September 9.   CMC officials led by Commissioner Manjunathayya came to evict street vendors at the same spot from the past 14 years.

The public gathered after seeing the CMC officials manhandle the goods. The public objected strongly, the officials in fear left the spot. It is said that some of the vendors had license/ID cards issued to them and they operated as required daily.
