Udupi, Nov 25, 2017: A 15 foot long python,  was rescued in Narayan Nagar Layout at Santhekatte, near Ashirwad Theatre Udupi dist. It was rescued by a professional snake-catcher named Reginald Furtado.

It was found on a piece of land belonging to one Anil D’Souza. On receiving a call from the place,  Furtado rushed to the spot and caught the python in about 15 minutes.

“We will release the python into the jungle,” said Mr. Furtado, who is former president of Hampankatta Friends, a voluntary group.
