Retention wall collapse: House partially damaged at Panjimogaru

Mangaluru, June 11, 2017:  A house at Urundadi Gudde in Panjimogaru belonging to Francis was partially damaged after a concrete retention wall constructed nearby collapsed over the house during the early hours of June 11, Sunday.

The family of Francis was sleeping when they heard a loud sound at around 6.30 and on rushing out found the concrete wall collapsing over the house.

Mayor Kavitha Sanil and MCC Commissioner Mohammad Nazir  rushed to the spot upon getting information and have  initiated steps to remove the  retention wall from the area as it  is likely to  cause further damage.

The Mayor has also assured the family of getting the collapsed wall reconstructed with the help of natural calamities relief fund.
