Retired employees’ association president H. Sanjeeva felicitated

Mangalore. July 12, 2012 : H. Sanjeeva, retired president of the Karnataka State Employees’ Association, was felicitated by the association on July 11 at the new community hall in Government College.

Vice President Rajendra Prasad delivered the welcome address. MLA U. T. Khader and the other dignitaries on the dais delivered the welcome address.

In his address, Mr. Khader said that government employees must work for the welfare of society, accept their transfers gracefully, and work for the good of the state. Stating that there are several people who work without making any complaints, he said that teachers and government employees pay their taxes on time and work without fail irrespective of the political party in power. 

He urged the government to provide housing loans to its employees at the rate of 3 percent so that they can live a decent life and give good education to their children. Whenever government employees face family problems, the government should help them out so that they will be motivated to give good services, he said.

Accepting the felicitation, H. Sanjeeva expressed his gratitude to all who supported him during his 30 years in government service.

S. P. Chengappa, president of the Mangalore Bar Council; George Pinto, president of the Karnataka State Employees Association; Niranjan Moorthy; Vishalakshi Sanjeeva; and many others were present.
