Manipal, Feb 29,2016 :  SOLS - School of Life Sciences, a constituent of Manipal University, will be organising a Refresher Course for Teachers on ‘Advanced Laboratory Techniques in Cell and Molecular Biology’ from February 29 to March 12

A media  release issued by the SOLS, said that the objective of the course was to impart training skills and updates about the latest developments in the field of Cell and Molecular Biology to teachers. The two-week course will be held at the SOLS premises in the Planetarium Complex of the University.

About 30 teachers at the graduate and post-graduate courses from across the country will participate in the course. Apart from hands-on training during their two-week long stay at Manipal, the participants will have the opportunity to listen to and interact with researchers of repute. The course will be coordinated by K. Satyamoorthy, Director of SOLS, and his team. Narayan Sabhahit, Registrar of Manipal University, will preside over the inauguration at 9.30 a.m. on February 29.
