Mangalore, April 19: The judge of the junior magistrate first class (JMFC) court in Mangalore has sentenced Shri Rama Sene activists to imprisonment for pelting stones at KSRTC buses during a district bandh called by the SRS on Jan 27, 2009 in protest against the arrest of SRS Chief Pramod Muthalik. 


The judge has sentenced 10 activists to imprisonment of 25 months and 6 days with a fine of Rs 4000. If they fail to pay the fine, they will have to undergo 40 more days of imprisonment.  



Those who have been sentenced to imprisonment are Roshan (20) of Padil, Sharath (25) and Kishore (26) of Veeranagar, Rajesh alias Raju (34) of Mulihithlu, Niranjan (24) of Alape, Ganesh (25) and Gopal (26) from Bajal, Diwakar (24) and Satish (21) of Veeranagar and Ganesh (20) of Maroli.
