Sexual assault of minor, sentence meted out

Mangaluru : The Second Additional Sessions Court and Special Court on Sept 23, Monday sentenced a man to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexual assault of a minor.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on the convicted Santhosh, who is a resident of Sajipamunnur in Bantwal. Of the total fine, the court had ordered that an amount of Rs 7,500 should be paid to the victim. Strict action is meted out to crimes against minors.
