Shakespearean romantic tragedy, Romeo Juliet, in Konkani

Mangaluru, Dec 06, 2014:  Kalakul art repertoire will present the classic Shakespearean romantic tragedy, Romeo Juliet, for the first time in Konkani at the 156th Monthly theatre of Mandd Sobhann at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar here on December 7. Arun Raj Rodrigues has translated the play and Christopher D’Souza of Neenasam troupe has directed it.

Rev Dr Prashant Madtha, columnist will felicitate Gladys Rego on this occasion for having donated her entire collection of more than 3,500 books to the library of Mandd Sobhann. Entry to the drama is free.
