Sindhu of St. Aloysius obtains second highest marks

Mangalore, May 7: Sindhu S. Shetty, a student of St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, has obtained distinction by scoring 587 marks in the PUC examination. 

Sindhu is a PCME (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Electronics) student. She is the daughter of Surekha Shetty and Santhosh Shetty of Ladyhill in Mangalore. Thanking her parents and all the lecturers of St. Aloysius College who taught her, she said that she never attended any tuitions or coaching classes, but learned everything during regular classes. 

Sindhu also says that she wants to become a professor. She said that she would like to become a teacher after completing her engineering course and MTech. 

Sindhu has already written IIT, EEE, and CET. She is now preparing for COMED-K, which is scheduled for May 9.
