Souhardha Christmas 2009 to foster communal harmony

Mangalore, Dec 16: The Karnataka Christian Educational Society, Sandesha Foundation, Protestant Christian Welfare Association (PROCHWA), and the Mangalore Christian Council will jointly organize Souhardha Christmas 2009 at Bishop Jathana Auditorium of Karnataka Theological College, Balmatta, on Dec 17, Thursday, at 6 p.m.

Renowned writer Dr. Sara Aboobakar; Dr. B Shivaram Shetty, the reader of the Kannada Department, Mangalore University; and Fr. Valerian Mendonza, the director and principal of Sandesha will participate in the programme.

Dr. Honemol Cabral, the principal of Karnataka Theological College, spoke to journalists during a press conference held at Press Culb on Dec 16, Tuesday, and said that the purpose of the programme was to foster communal harmony.
