Special kids, ‘Ray of hope 2017’ today Dec 9, at Town Hall

Dec 09, 2017: Saanidhya Residential School and Training Centre, Shaktinagara, Mangaluru, will organise a cultural programme titled ‘Ray of hope 2017’ to raise funds for a permanent rehabilitation centre for specially-abled children at ‘Sannidhya Shashwath Home’.

Addressing media administrator Vasanth Kumar Shetty said that the cultural programme, to be presented by kids, will be held at Town Hall, today December 9, Saturday.  DK DC Sasikanth Senthil will inaugurate the programme at 5.30 pm at the Town Hall.

Special kids of Saanidhya Residential School and Training Centre will perform dance, fashion show and other cultural programmes.

He further said that a permanent home is planned at a cost of Rs 5 crore.  The project has been formulated by Sri Ganesh Seva Trust.  Currently, there are about 160 specially-abled students in the Saanidhya Residential School.
