Special train on Sept 9, Saturday for Velankanni

Mangaluru, Sep 06, 2017: A special train on special fare will be operated between Velankanni and Panvel via Mangaluru Junction on Sept 9, Saturday to clear extra rush of pilgrims during the feast of Our Lady of Good Health at Velankanni.

Train No 06099 Velankanni-Panvel will leave Velankanni at 9.45 a.m. on September 9 and reach Panvel at 7.55 p.m. the next day.

It will halt at Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindugal, Pollachi, Palghat, Shoranur Junction, Kozhikode, Kannur, Mangaluru Junction, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Kundapur, Bhatkal, Honnavar, Kumta, Karwar, Madgaon Junction, Karmali, Thivim, Pernem, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Kankavali, Vilavade, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Chiplun, Khed, Mangaon and Roha Stations. It will have 23 coaches, including one two tier AC coach, two three tier AC coaches, 10 sleeper coaches, eight general coaches, according to a release.
