Speeding express bus kills two-wheeler rider near Kaup

Udupi, Feb 4, 2013:  The owner of Madhura bus, lost his life when his two-wheeler was knocked down by a private express bus  on NH 66 near Kaup Koppalangady on February 3, Sunday.

The deceased is Mohammad  Sharief from Mulur. He owned a transport company and was also a real estate businessman.

Sharief was on his way to Kaup from Muloor in his Honda Activa, when the bus from the opposite direction took to left without any indication, in turn colliding against the two-wheeler killing Sharif on the spot.

The deceased is survived by his wife and two children. The bus driver and conductor fled the scene of the accident. Kaup police have registered a case.
