St.Agne’s College graduation day on June 21

Mangalore, June 19, 2014: St Agnes College (autonomous) will hold its graduation day 2014 in the college auditorium on June 21. Fifty five post-graduate degree and 593 under-graduate degree students will be conferred with their degrees awarded by Mangalore University.

The college will also award ranks to 27 post-graduate and under-graduate students on this occasion. The college presently offers four post-graduate and six under-graduate courses. St Agnes is a pioneer in women’s education in the region.

Speaking to the media, Sr Marie Prem D’Souza, principal said B Thimme Gowda, vice-chancellor, Bangalore University will deliver the graduation day address and present the ranks and degree certificates to students. Graduates eligible for the degrees have already registered their participation.

Sr Marie states Sr Maria Roopa, superior and joint secretary of the college will preside over the function. Shailaja K, registrar (evaluation), and Jayanth H, convener were present.
