St Anthony’s Parish, Permai, Celebrates Parish Day

Mangalore, Feb 19: St Anthony’s parish celebrated its Parish Day at Permai, Mallur, Mangalore, recently.
 

 

 

On the occasion, Fr Valerian Mendonca, director of ‘Sandesha’, presided over the function. Stephen Dias, customs and central excise officer, was the chief guest of the programme., The devotees in large offered their agricultural produce, which cultivated in their farms, during the offering programme.
 
The parishioners of all the nine wards presented several entertainment programmes in the evening. Mark Prakash Lobo, secretary of the parish cultural committee, welcomed the gathering, John Prakash Pinto, convener of the cultural committee, proposed vote of thanks and Reshma Coutinho compered the programme.
