State government employee found hanging in temple toilet

Mangalore, May 6: Mystery surrounds the death of a 34 year old state government employee, who was found hanging in a toilet of a temple on May 5.

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh, working as an engineer in the minor irrigation department of the state government. Kadri police said that the incident took place in the evening of Wednesday. After visiting Kadri Temple, he had visited the temple toilet, where he ended his life by hanging himself.

But the reasons behind the death are yet to be known. A case in this regard has been registered in Kadri police station.
