Stolen goods recovered police nab 3 muggers

June 09, 2017: Reports say that Mangaluru City Police on June 8,  Thursday arrested three bag snatchers involved in five cases and recovered property worth Rs 75000.

A police team headed by Mangaluru East Inspector Maruti Nayak, SI Harish, ASI Shashidhar Shetty, HCs Venkatesh, Umesh, Prashant and Ashit, and PC Ravi nabbed the accused who were involved in five cases, of which three cases are registered in East PS, one at Bantwal Rural PS, and another at Manipal PS.

Police Recovered a stolen Honda Activa worth Rs 50,000, five mobile phones of different brands worth Rs 23,000 and other articles from the accused namely Anjaneya, resident of Janatha Colony, Suratkal; Koushik Devadiga of Kadri and Rakshit Kotian of Bejai, Anegundi. The accused were arrested under the supervision of Mangaluru central sub-division ACP Uday Nayak.
