Mangaluru, July 21,2015 : As per reports received, a girl student returning home at 34-Nelyady village in Puttur taluk is feared drowned July 20. Police identified the student as Anisha, 12. 

The incident happened around 5pm when she was on her way home and was crossing a small rivulet adjoining her house. Police said the strong gushing waters could have caused her to loose balance and was swept away.

  Efforts were on to trace the girl.   A case of person missing is registered at Uppinangady police station.
