Mangalore, June 27, 2014:  According to the police, Mahima (17), daughter of Rajendra L and Nitya hailing from Kollegala in Chamarajanagara,  student studying in a private PU college in Valachil committed suicide on.. She had joined the PU College three days back.

In fact, she had even spoke to her mother the previous day. However, she was found hanging in her hostel room in the morning. It is suspected that she was  ’home sick’ and this drove her to take the extreme step to end her life. A case has been registered.
