Suicidal woman; rescued by locals

Mangaluru, Feb 29, 2016: As per reports, a woman attempted suicide and was rescued by locals on Feb 26,  Saturday morning.

It is said that Tulasi, resident of Suratkal, left her house for unknown reasons. She then reached Kuloor bridge and jumped into the river. Locals who witnessed this shouted for help. Immediately, Ibrahim Kunjathbail and Leo D’souza, who were in a boat nearby succeeded in rescuing her. She was admitted to Wenlock Hospital and is said to be out of danger.
