Sullia : 16 year old girl sexually assaulted by middle-aged man

Sullia, Jan 24,2013 : A sixteen year old girl who worked as a domestic servant in Ubaradka of Mittur village of Sullia, was allegedly sexually assaulted by a middle-aged man hailing from the same village on January 22, Tuesday.

The accused has been identified as Ashraf. It is said he lured the girl, took her to his house and then outraged her modesty. Sources said Ashraf had also warned the girl against disclosing the incident before anyone.

The Sullia police have registered a case of rape, intimidation and wrongful confinement against the accused on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
Investigations are in progress.
