Mangaluru, Apr 04, 2015: Brahmakalashothsava Committee Working President Sathyajith Surathkal said Brahmakalashothsava will be carried out with the guidance of Kudupi Narasimha Thantri.  Ashthabandha Brahmakalashothsava of Purathana Sri Mariyamma Temple in Surathkal will be held on April 6 from 10.45 am onwards and various rituals will be held in this regard. Also, annual fair of the temple will be held on April 28 and 29.  The religious rituals will start from April 3 and mass feeding will be done on all the days.

Sri Krishnapur mutt seer, Shiroor mutt seer, Odiyur seer and Manila seer will take part in the religious programmes. Spiritual discourses and cultural programmes will be held.   The procession of hasiruvani offerings will be taken from Sri Sadashiva Mahaganapathy Temple, Surathkal and Idya Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple to Sri Purathana Mariyamma Temple on April 14 at 3.30 pm, Sathyajith said.

Purathana Mariyamma Temple Administrator Chandappa Gurikar, Brahmakalashothsava Committee honourary president Kadambodi Mahabala were present.  Interested people are invited.
