Mangalore, Oct 27, 2013: The Swarunraj Foundation set up in memory of talented Bharatanatyam artiste Swarunraj  was inaugurated by Prof. MB Puranik, President of Karnataka Go Seva Ayoga at Town Hall on October 26, Saturday.

Chakravarthi Soolibele, Vice President of Samskara Bharathi who was present as a chief guest, spoke on the good qualities which were nurtured by Late Swarunraj.

Veteran Yakshagana artiste Kumble Sunder Rao presided over the function. Suresh Raj, President of the Foundation,  Capt. Ganesh Karnik,  Chandrashekhar K Shetty, Trustees were also present.
