TSN Murthy appointed as income tax commissioner of NMPT

Mangalore, June 11, 2014: T.S.N. Murthy, IRS (1991) who was working for 4 years as Deputy Chairman, NMPT has been repatriated to his parent department on June 6 and posted as Commissioner-Income Tax.   

During his tenure he made the Port as a Green and Clean Port by sapling more than one lac trees and also created additional water bodies in and around the Port for which the port has been awarded with Green Tech consequently for two years in addition to Aranya Mitra Award. 

He had also contributed for the growth of the Port during his tenure.
