Technical error discovered: AI Mangalore - Kuwait flight cancelled

Mangalore Today News Network

Mangalore, May 26: The Tuesday 9:30 p.m. Air India flight from Mangalore to Kuwait was cancelled because of the discovery of prominent technical errors in the aircraft.

The passengers, who had already boarded the plane, were requested to alight and taken to hotels in Mangalore. The technical errors were brought to light just before the plane was about to take off. A total of 129 passengers were expected to fly to Kuwait that night.

56 of these passengers were from Calicut, the plane having flown into Bajpe Airport from Calicut at 8:00 p.m. The passengers were stranded at the airport till midnight, owing to indecision regarding the unforeseen issue.

The passengers and their friends and family members who had come to see them off were anxious and worried about the situation. Initially, everybody thought that this was because of the AI employees’ strike. However, reliable sources officially revealed that technical errors were discovered in the aircraft.

Passengers were wondering what they would tell their friends and relative members who were waiting to pick them up at Kuwait Airport. A month ago, a Gulf-bound flight had been similarly cancelled.
