Three-Year-old boy killed by ambulance

Mangalore,Mar 7,2014: A migrant couple’s three-year –old boy died after he was hit by a 108 ambulance near a petrol bunk in Punaroor   near   Mulki   on Thursday.

Mulki   police said Rajendra   was playing on the rear side of the  parked  ambulance near the petrol bunk  around noon. After starting the ambulance, its driver Fakirappa   backed up the vehicle, injuring   the boy’s head and stomach.

Rajendra   was taken  to a hospital nearby and then to the Government  Wenlock  Hospital ,where  he died around 2 p.m.

Rajendra ‘s  parents, who  are from Rajasthan ,stay near  the petrol bunk
Rajendra’s  parents and relatives are yet  to appear before the police.
