Tiny tots flaunt their talent

Mangaluru, Mar 20, 2015 : Kindergarten students of The Yenepoya School performing at the annual day celebration of the school in Mangaluru on Wednesday.

It was a day for fun and exhibition of talents for the tiny tots of The Yenepoya School here on Wednesday.

With the theme Cinemascope, Hindi films of the yesteryears dominated the performance of the children at the annual day of the kindergarten section of the school. On the occasion, kids of Montessori 3 were declared ‘graduated’ to enter Class 1.

Speaking on the occasion, Malini Hebbar, Associate Professor, English, St. Agnes School, said that the programme looked unique with teachers striving hard to bring in new ideas among children.

The children danced and performed to the songs and memorable scenes of films like Sholay and Don in the background.

The kindergarten teachers also had put in their best foot forward to recreate film scenes with chaiwalas, fancy stores, newspaper stalls, village huts, Gabbar Singh’s den, among the props on stage.

The children, who underwent continuous training, did not fail their teachers and faced the audience bravely.

All the 140-odd toddlers studying in the kindergarten section were given an opportunity to perform in one or the other role during the celebrations.

They ended the programme with a message about life: “Life is full of laughter and tears, Enjoy Every Moment.”
