Mangaluru, Feb 19, 2015: Movement of some trains to and from Mangaluru is likely to get affected from February 18 to March 1, a release from Southern Railway said.

The Southern Railway is taking up girder change and maintenance work on two bridges at Vadakkekara and Morkulam in the Thiruvananthapuram Division.

Train No. 16650 Nagercoil-Mangaluru Parasuram Express would be diverted via Alappuzha on February 21, 22, 28 and March 1. Train No. 12202 Kochuveli-Lokmanyatilak Garib Rath Express would be detained for 30 minutes at stations in the Kottayam section on February 22 and March 1, said a release.

One additional second class sleeper coach would be permanently augmented to Train Nos. 22113/22114 Mumbai LTT-Kochuveli-Mumbai LTT Express from February 21 and February 23 respectively, said a release from Konkan Railway Corporation.
