Mangalore, Aug 07, 2014: Tulu film ‘Rang’ produced by Kateeleshwari Combines will be released on August 8, media was informed in Mangalore. The  Film Executive producer Sukhpal Polali said that the film will be screened at 12 theatres in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

They  are Suchitra, Big Cinemas, Cinepolis and PVR in Mangalore, Kalpana in Udupi, Inox in Manipal, Nakshatra in BC Road, Aruna in Puttur, Bharat in Belthangadi, Radhika and Planet in Karkala and Amarashree in Moodbidri.

The film has been directed by Suhan Prasad and Vismaya Vinayak. Hindi film actor Johnny Lever has a special appearance in the film. Arjun Kapikad and Deekshita Acharya are in the lead roles.  Devdas Kapikad, Navin D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor and Sathish Bandale are the other actors.

There are five songs in the film and the music has been scored by Manikanth Kadri. Bhaskar Nellitheertha and Shashiraj Rao Kavoor have penned the lyrics. Sukhpal said that several numbers, including ‘Premanathe Pass Aathe,’ have become famous already. The film has been produced by Devdas Kumar Pandeshwar and Pramila Dev.  The film has a lot of interest from people of the region.
