Under the project, cards will be issued to the families and six members of a family can avail the benefit. The validity of the card is one year after which the beneficiary can renew the card.
Some of the terms and conditions for the members include, that the patient can get only three bottles of blood a day, the blood will be issued based on the direction of the doctor who treats a particular patient and the benefit can be obtained only after one month of registration.
