Two teachers booked for harassment

Udupi, Nov 03, 2018: A case has been registered against two teachers on the charge of harassing a 17-year-old girl at a village in Hebri taluk of Udupi district under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (PoCSO) Act. The girl belongs to a Scheduled Tribes.

A case has also been booked against the head teacher of the education institution and an officer of the Education Department for allegedly covering up the case of harassment. Investigation is on, the police said.
