Two wheeler riders caught for not wearing helmets

Mangaluru :  The police booked cases against those riding two-wheelers without wearing helmets, even as traffic was disrupted due to ’Rasta roko’  on Thursday Oct 15.

Two-wheeler riders was stopped by the police at the Jeppinamogaru junction from where they approached towards Morgan’s Gate.  Apart from imposing fine for not wearing helmets, they were also booked for not carrying vehicle documents.  The errant riders could not escape because of the heavy traffic between Morgan’s Gate and Jeppinamogaru.

One errant rider received a few blows from the constable and the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police for trying to flee from the law.
