Udupi: College student run over by speeding tempo

Udupi, jan 8, 2012 : A first year PUC student of the Poornaprajna College here met a tragic end after he was fatally run over by a  tempo  near Admar-Yermal cross on NH 66 on January 7, Monday.

The deceased youth has been identified as Shesha  Nandan Pai (17) hailing from Padubidri.

He was  walking towards Admar after alighting from a bus at Yermal when the  tempo on way to Mangalore from Udupi knocked him down. Shesha Nandan was the only son of his parents and is survived by a sister.

Kaup police are investigating.
