Udupi : Jewellery shop burgled

Udupi , Feb 8, 2013 : A jewellery shop located at Vadiraja Road in the town was burgled on the night of February 6, Wednesday. It has been reported that jewellery worth Rs 3 lakhs and a cash of Rs 5 lakh has been stolen.

The theft came to light on Thursday morning when the shop owner’s nephew arrived the next morning to open the shop. The main door was found broken.

Investigations are in progress.
