Ullal cops rescue 7 cattle found abandoned

Mangalore, July 11, 2013 :  The Ullal police following a tip off from some Hindu organizations have taken into custody seven cattle which were found tied in an open space at Millathnagar in Ullal . There is a suspicion that the cattle were meant for smuggling.

The incident sparked some amount of tension in the region. Police had a tough time loading the cattle to a vehicle due to the sub-standard roads. Two of the cattle  were found injured.

Ullal police have registered a case.
