Mangalore, May 23: A day after the tragic incident of air crash at Mangalore airport, E Ahmed, Union Minister of State for Railways visited Wenlock Hospital in Mangalore on May 23.
Ahmed, who interacted with journalists after visiting Wenlock hospital, where charred bodies of victims of air crash are kept for identification, expressed his deep grief and sorrows at the mishap. He said that it is not wise to point out whose fault it was. It was a tragedy. However, he confirmed that the reason for the air crash would be found out after the careful investigation by the concerned authority.
He also expressed his thanks to all those who helped to carry out the rescue operation successfully at the time of incident.
The bodies of 87 victims of Saturday’s plane crash have been identified and handed over to their relatives while 25 bodies are still remains unidentified on Sunday May 23 and are kept for identification.
