University Inter-collegiate badminton Sept 11 & 12

Mangaluru, Sep 10, 2015 :     MU -  Mangalore University  and St. Mary’s Syrian College will organise the Mangalore University Inter-collegiate Men and Women Badminton Tournament at the SMS Indoor Stadium at Brahmavar  Sept 11 & 12. 

Two new courts of SMS College, sponsored by the University Grants Commission, too, will be inaugurated.

At least 30 men’s teams and 29 women’s teams will participate. K. Abhayachandra Jain, Minister for Sports, Youth Empowerment and Fisheries, will inaugurate the wooden badminton courts, and K. Raghupati Bhat, President of Udupi District Badminton Association, will declare open the tournament.
