VAA to organise "Prerna - confluence of ideas" on February 27

Mangaluru :  VKSSA Alumni Association, alumni association formed by recipients of Vishwa Konkani Scholarships instituted by World Konkani Centre, is organising a day-long mega event Prerna - A Confluence of Ideas and Motivation on February 27 at T V Raman Pai Convention Hall. T V Mohandas Pai, chairman, Manipal Global Education, will inaugurate the confluence in the presence of Sundeep Bambolkar, joint MD, Indoco Remedies, Mumbai.

Prerna, which was initiated last year, will present this year six speakers who have not only dared to tread the uncharted path, in professional and personal life, but have also carved out a niche for themselves. They are: Ullas Kamath, joint MD, Jyothy Laboratories, Ambareesh Baliga, stock market analyst, Umesh Kamath, director HR, UST Global Software, Reema Tendulkar, prominent TV anchor, and Ajay Bhalwankar, chief creative director, Sony Entertainment TV.

Mohandas Pai will also address the gathering on the occasion. To broad base the programme and seek more participation, the event will be open to entire student fraternity of the region. Students can contact the organisers. While there is no entry fee, seating capacity of the venue may restrict attendance and hence it is a first come first served opportunity. The event is organised by VAA and World Konkani Centre, Mangaluru.
