Victims with fake passports also to be compensated: Chandy

Kasargod, May 31: Oommen Chandy, the opposition leader in the Kerala Assembly, said that the centre has assured that the families of plane crash victims holding fake passports will also receive compensation. The centre will conduct enquiries regarding the fake passports, but compensations will be given to the bereaved families. 

Chandy said that most of the plane crash victims of Kasargod and Kannur hailed from poor families, owing to which denying them compensation cannot be justified.
